How to colour an entire DIV column?

P: n/a
Hi all,

The page in question is here:

http://www.magus-toolbox.com/

Stylesheet:

http://www.magus-toolbox.com/css/magus-toolbox.css

I want the right-hand column (id #rightColumn) to be
coloured blue all the way to the bottom. What's the
best way to acheive this? Ideally I'd like to force
the copyright notice to the bottom, as I hope this
will force the <DIV> to occupy the page height.

(BTW I know it looks like a dogs breakfast in IE5 at
the moment, I'm hoping this is mainly because I've
inadvertently used CSS2 features).

TIA,

using a gif of 1px high and column width wide as background
image, repeat-y.

Not sure, but I think it can be done only the other way
round: have the <div> contain enough content (or height) to
force the copyright notice to the bottom :-)

I didn't look. And if you describe it as a dogs breakfast,
I'm not going to look either :-D

That was exactly what I needed; many thanks. The inner / outer DIV
trick never occurred to me.

Cheers,
