Weird happening in IE 5.01

Check this out. Y'all ain't gonna believe this. Only discovered in 5.01 so
far. 5.5 and up is fine.

Click on one of the nav links. The links will shift down. Now click
somewhere blank. Click the link again, then click somewhere blank again.
Repeat to your amusement.

Anyone have a clue as to what's happening?
