making input fields shorter

P: n/a

Just making a site with a text input, and it looks big and clumsy.
Hotmail's boxes when I compose a message are not as tall, and make th
design look more sleek. I'm assuming this is a css thing, but I don'
know. Anyone know how I can make mine shorter

No way! They are so small they are invisible.
No ..wait. That's because you didn't supply
an _URL_!

And as we all know, for design theory,
consult MicroSoft first.

...BwaHaHa (I wish I could keep a straight
face as I'm sayin' crap like that.)

Yeah, go on assuming. I could go on trying
to guess what you did wrong in your page,
...but I couldn't be bothered. (I've had my
entertainment)

Did you notice how I had to step out of the
way to let all the posts through that were
offering help?

To quote those superstitious types..
"God helps those that help themselves"

And from my original post..
"..you didn't supply an _URL_!"

So, if you want the people who _might_
help you to join the party, perhaps you
should follow up on the one bit of good
advice I _did_ offer you..

And just to support that I was not
being (purely) facetious..

Hey (shrugs) your problem, your choice.
