Removing Explorer-added text from printable page.

Hi,

I have some CSS to clean up my page to remove certain things when printed,
but how can I remove the stuff that IE or Netscape adds - like the URL, date
and "Page 1 of 1"?

Thanks,
mark

You can't with css.

http://www.meadroid.com/scriptx/ gives you a solution for IE4+

You can't. Those are part of the user interface.

Most browsers let users configure these, at least to an extent. It's
not controllable by authors in HTML.

I can't imagine why you'd want to do that anyhow, but no. These things fall
into the domain of the user.
