Aligning a div to a table

P: n/a
Is there a way to align a div to a table? I have a table that is
aligned center, valigned middle on the page and I need to apply a
dynamic length border to the right side of the content cell of the
table. I can do this for a page, but I am having trouble figuring out
how to align the div to the table and stretch it to the height of just
the middle cell.

Thanx in advance for any advice you can offer!

Hi!

I don't know if I got it right, but probably the CSS "position:relative"
may help, like

<table>
<tr>
<td>
<div id="divinsidetable">...some longer text...</div>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

with style:

div#divinsidetable {
position:relative;
right:0px;
top:0px;
border-right:solid 2px red;
}

[not tested, but should work]

If I'm wrong, please be more precise or give us a link.
