how to do overlapping

Hello NG,

On my page ( http://www.debilski.de/_test/debilski-css/ ) my aim is to have
the upper two tables (withe the pictures in it)(class-attributes:
reallyright, reallyleft resp.) overlap the border of the content-field
(id=inhalt).

The pictures/tables should be shifted in a way that approxiamtely half of
the white borders left and right are covered.

The thing I cannot understand is that IE5.x seems to have no problem with
this, in contrast to Opera 7.1 and Mozilla 1.4.

I hope there's anyone to help.

Fix the html errors:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht.../debilski-css/
do the same for your css, then try again.

Read the message again. "Fix the html errors...*do the same for your
css*...." [emphasis added]

You did the first, you did not do the second.
