Macs and spans

Hi
Some mac owners have tested my site with ie 5 and Safari and cannot get the
mouseover verses to work.

As this is my first attempt at Css and i'm certainly not Einstien, can
anyone see the problem, or am i too soon with spans for these browsers on
the Mac?
Thanks

Paul

The mouseovers work fine in Safari1.0(v85).

I think the whole idea of using rollovers for this thing is a cumbersome
design. In all honesty, it looks stupid; like the client had to pay per
square inch of used browser canvas.

Why not just make it 1) a better design and consequentially 2) avoid JS
compatibility issues altogether?

Please, choose your accompanying verse:
[x] None
[ ] Verse 1: "Blah blah blah, I wish I could copy the verse text from
the site but I can't because it keeps dissapearing when moving my mouse
of the link (which is not a link)."
[ ] Verse 2: "More blah blah, supposed to be text for verse #2"
[ ] Verse 3: "More verse, etcetera"

and

[ ] Insert your own verse:
[TEXTAREA]

Hi Kris

Some good points. Interesting about the Safari working.

I think that i'm paranoid about page size as the next step was to remove the
verses from the page to make it smaller.

I will think about your way of presenting the verses that way as it it is
more upfront and maybe a better idea.

Thanks for replying
