(Flash) Why is my text box background white?

P: n/a
Using Flash MX, how do I tell the text box to stop putting a solid white
background color behind the text? I can't see my movie background through
it, it's annoying. I want the text to be black and no background applied to
the text box itself (transparent).

Thanks.
