on the left side i have an picture, an on the right side will be text.
the text is larger than the picture height, so the text continues under

but i dont want to use any tables to design my page...
for now i use the float attribute, but this causes the give problem....

XXX = Picture
T = text

XXXXXX TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt
XXXXXX TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt
XXXXXX TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt
XXXXXX TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTtTTTTTTTTT
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt
it should look like this

XXXXXX TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTt

Use left margin as big as image width for element you have text.
