IE6 and XP Theme - Background Style

P: n/a
I am curious if anyone has noticed a particular oddity with adding a
background color or image to a form element in IE6 running on an XP
machine. In my experience adding a background color or image to a
button(or any form element) causes the button to appear with the
Windows Classic look. Does anyone know of a way to assign a
background color to a button without the button reverting to the
Windows Classic look?

Thanks in advance.
