You know what, Nick? Go right ahead. I mean, afterall I did commit the
cardinal sin of including the spammer's original message when I replied.
How absolutely horrible I am.

I think its pretty funny that you've got a pretty good habit of posting
announcements to every c.i.w.* newsgroup everytime you update/ add to your
webthing tools. The only reason you've not been labelled a spammer is
because you're also an active participant in the groups you "make your
announcements" in.

http://tinyurl.com/yt9se - This one is priceless. You say: " Please excuse
the advert: I think I participate enough in this newsgroup
to be forgiven a one-off announcement ", but as we're seeing, it isn't a
one-off announcement is it?
http://tinyurl.com/2wpf7 - But thankfully you admit to advertising. (and
keep 'em coming anyway)

I guess all of the above would be deemed as "acceptable" because they're all
free tools, while the OP was selling something, right?

" Free email is NOT allowed". What's it to you whether the customer pays for
the account he uses to receive his mail? Can you even tell the difference?
Can you tell whether someone is using a free, maximum 6 Mb yahoo.com e-mail
account as opposed to a paid 25 Mb yahoo.com e-mail account?

We might have thought it was just a thoughtless mistake, such as
I've made often enough. But if it were, you'd have kept silent or
even apologized, not gotten all snotty.

I'm with Nick on this one.
