Linking to Other Websites

P: n/a
Hi,

I'm working with the following code and would like to know how I can send
forms into to one website (with the "Submit" button) while sending the
user
to a different website when he clicks on a link taking him to a
directory.

<td rowspan="2"><a href="#"
onclick="MM_openBrWindow('http://newwebsite.com','','scrollbars=yes,resizabl
e=yes,width=600,height=500')"><img

src="shp2_29.gif" width="70" height="22" border="0"></a></td>

<td rowspan="2"><img src="shp2_30.gif" width="5"

height="22"></td>

Thanks,

J. Christopher

There is no form, and no submit button in the code you included.

To submit a form to a different server just include the full address
in the action attribute of the form element.
e.g. <form action="http://www.server.example/">
while sending theuser to a different website when he clicks on a link
taking him to a directory.
That's just an ordinary link.
<a href="http://www.server.example/">link text</a>

I guess that you haven't told us what your real problem is. Care to
elaborate? And a URL never hurts and often helps.
<td rowspan="2"><a href="#"
onclick="MM_openBrWindow('http://newwebsite.com','','scrollbars=yes,resizabl
e=yes,width=600,height=500')"><img
src="shp2_29.gif" width="70" height="22" border="0"></a></td>
<td rowspan="2"><img src="shp2_30.gif" width="5"
height="22"></td>

This is code to open a popup window. It doesn't work unless the user
has JavaScript enabled, and might not work then if they user has set
their browser to disallow popup windows. What's more the images are
missing the required alt attribute.
