background image -- bleed off page

Jaz

Hello all,

I'd like to have a background image bleed of the right side of my
page, but I don't want the page to stretch out with a scroll bar. How
might I go about this?

I can't make it a body background since I'm using Mambo as a CMS.
Instead, this image is going to go into a content object which will be
displayed on my front page. There will be a small flash object on top
of the left side of the image, and the image will be wide enough to
extend to the right side of the page when the browser window is wide.
But if the browser is narrow, I want the image to bleed off without
creating a scroll bar.

So, in the content object editor I can use div, table, etc., but I
can't call an external style sheet.

Thanks for any advise you can offer.

That is however the way to do it. If your tool won't support it, then
you need to find a better tool.

Can you use style sheets?

None, the 8 blondes already changed it...

Well, it is possible, but makes no sence. If you are using CMS that don't
allow changing stylesheet, you really need to change CMS.

Or maybe you have misunderstood limitation in CMS? If not, changing it
seems very good reason.
