Order in which HTML columns decrease in size

Hi all,

I have the following challenge:

I want a table with 3 columns, in which
-the left one has a maximum width of 470px
-the middle one always has a fixed width of 180 px,
-and the right one fills the remaining part of the screen.

When you resize the window (smaller, or with a smaller resolution) I
want to have the width of the right one decreased first, the left and
middle one stay intact.
Once the right column has the width of zero, the left column can start
decreasing in size, but until then it should stay the same width.
In other words, how do I specify the order of columns in which the
size may decrease?

Thanks a lot!
