Hi,

what does "&nb! sp;" stand for in an html source code ??

Nothing.

  is a non-breaking space, but if you shove "! " in the middle of it
I'm pretty sure its just invalid.

Looks like a typo to me: are you sure it's not   i.e. the character
entity reference for non-breaking space ?

It's in a html email from a potential ebay betrayer, who got 520€ from me and
does not deliver anything. His name is "&nb! sp; Graf". I just ignored the
entity, since I thought it would be a technical problem, but now I am
investigating anything, in order to find it's real identity....

You got any idea, whether this name could be displayed this way by accident, or
is it more likely that the sender wrote the name in this cryptical way in order
to to cover it's identity ??

What do you think ?
