Best way to display two addresses together?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a cross browser way of displaying
two addresses side by side after some preliminary text? I have tried a
containing box and floating two further boxes inside, one left and one
right and also just floating the two boxes without the container but I
can't seem to get it to work in all the browsers.

The site at the moment uses a table but I would like to get rid of it.

Sorry no URL as I am not able to use the connection I use to ftp to the
site I have.
