pass parameter

Hi, can any one help me? I have the following problem:

I have a html file config.html, and in this file there is a button, if
I click the button, I have another html file colorbox.html, then in
this colorbox I can choose some color, but if I have choosed some
color, I can't send this information back to the config.html.

I need your help:)
