How to toggle menu in 2 languages

Hi there,

I am working on a multi-lingual site. I want to allow users to select and display the menu in two languages.

I have seen some sites where you can click the menu (item) and the menu toggles, for example, between Chinese and English.

Can anyone give me a clue how to add a menu item like that?

Thanks

Either the user is sent to a different URI containing the same menu in a different language or the page is switched using javascript and, possibly, AJAX to repopulate the page with the new language. HTML/CSS cannot do this otherwise.

Thanks for your reply dr howard.

What you said sounds complicated, is it? I don't know much about URI and javascript. Can you elaborate or suggest an article, tutorial?

You need to learn programming and the language to do that. Switching URIs is just a matter of changing the link address. iow, if they click on Chinese, the link takes them to a new page written in Chinese.
