Safari/Firefox alignment problem

Hi,

I'm using the html code below, to position the image TAB_CONTACT.jpg.

<img src="http://www.ae35design.com/resources/TAB_CONTACT.jpg" style="position:absolute; top:40px; left:0px; width:900px; height:20px" border="0" />

You can see the image here:

QUESTION: why is the position different in the Firefox browser. The Safari browser is positioning the image correctly for my site.

Thank you very much,
Jay

Without a link, or the complete markup, anything we say is just a wild guess.

this html is giving different results in Safari and Firefox, I was wondering if there was a piece of html that i could insert to enhance the 'absolute position' result. Safari's version is the desired result, Firefox seems to have it's own interpretation.

If you view this site in Safari you can see the 'down tab' is aligned: http://www.ae35design.com/

In Firefox it is misaligned.

Thank you,
