Paypal or so Donation Form In my page

Hi All,

I am not sure if this is the right category to ask my question. I want to insert a paypal donation system into my page. However, in paypal, all i found was the button. When clicked, it goes to paypal.com. I want the form to be within my website, like in some websites. How do i do that? The donation system can be other than paypal.

The reason why paypal offers it so that you can go to their website is because they have spent lot of time and knowledge in making their payment pages secure and stable. When you take that on yourself, you will be responsible for security. It can be done with several languages, and paypal does have integration instructions for a few.

Other options to have your own: have a look at eCommerce for your chosen langauge. For example, I like PHP, so you can search for "PHP eCommerce". There are some vital components in doing transactions online, which you will need to look up before you start. Some eCommerce sites provide some for free, but you will have to do some yourself.

Most banks also provide a facility for eCommerce, but you will be paying a premium to have their help.

I don't want to scare you, but I looked into it myself not long ago and decided to just give a bank account number that people could transfer to, as pretty much all of them have a credit card surcharge of 1.5-3.5%, and I had better things to do than manage my personal payment system.
