Object height problem in Firefox and Google Chrome

When using an object tag to embed a video file everything looks fine in Internet Explorer and Safari. However I can't get it to display at all in Opera. More importantly in Firefox and Google Chrome the height doesn't work so that you get it wide and short which distorts the video and makes it looks like bad layout.

  1. <object width="640px" height="480px" classid="CLSID:22D6f312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95" type="application/x-oleobject" standby="Loading Windows Media Player components..." codebase="http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/mplayer/en/nsmp2inf.cab#Version=6,4,7,1112">
  2. <param value="my_video_path_and_name.wmv" name="FileName" />
  3. <param value="true" name="autostart" />
  4. <param value="false" name="ShowDisplay" />
  5. <param value="true" name="ShowControls" />
  6. <param value="false" name="ShowStatusBar" /><embed width="650px" height="480px" type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/" src="my_video_path_and_name.wmv"></embed></object>
Could anyone help me please?

'px' is not appropriate in HTML attributes. Remove px, leaving the value alone.
