Line break below img in firefox, not in IE?

Hi all! I am going crazy - firefox is inserting white space below my image (ribbon3.bmp) in firefox, but not in internet explorer. My page validates too. Please help!

This is a bug in IE, not a problem in Firefox. IE is not performing proper margin collapse.

EDIT: I jumped the gun. It's not IEs margin bug, it's IEs image align bug. Firefox is properly aligning the images to the baseline. To imitate the IE bug, add 'vertical-align:bottom' to your ribbon image.
