Dropdown Menu IE7 Problem

Need answer to this apparent universal IE problem of drop down submenus not displaying over moving graphics. Seems to work with static imagery(?). Menu works with all other browsers on WIN and MAC.

IE has a lot of "universal" problems, if you mean that they are specific to IE. If you are talking about the hover pseudo class then you need an extra file to allow this to be done (google "csshover3.htc").

Unfortuantely I am using IE now so I can't see it working, but I am presuming that you have just built a css menu which is not IE friendly. There are hundreds of css dropdown menus so I can't go through them, but a quick search to see how other people have coded compared to you will probably show you where you are going wrong. If all else fails, you can prepare a CSS hack to include using: <!--[if IE] do this [end if]--> and trouble shoot for IE only in that file.

To get it over the moving stuff (if that is the only problem), you will need to play around with positions (absolute), floats and z-index. Let us know what you have already done.

Please clarify your question. Your menu is working as I believe you intend in XP IE7.0 on this end. The drop-down is not working in XP IE/6.0.

What is your OS? And what version of IE is not working for you on that OS?
