how to have a color border between the rows of a table

hi,
i have table inside a div. This table does not have any border.
now i want a line to be appeared between the rows of the table
and be able to show/hide the second row of a table clicking on a button!!!!!!!!!

Any Help is very much appreciated

You could always just add a empty row between the other two rows. A row that spans across all the columns, is 1px hight and has a red border. That should create a red line between the rows.

You will have to use JavaScript to hide the second row when you click the button. You could have it set the "display" style to "none".

Alternatively, you could use the rules attribute (set to "rows"). I'm not sure if it's supported by all browsers though.
