Not possible with HTML. How is the copy/paste triggered? On clicking a button?

The user will copy the desired cells (both columns and rows) manually (right click - copy) from the excel and i want to add some functionality in the page in order to allow him to paste the copied data in table in the website..

If you give them text boxes in the table cells, the browser can handle this for you.

But all the data is copied in the same textarea. I want each column to be copied to the respective textarea (my table is made of textareas)

So you want this to be done automatically using a button? You can use different textareas and the user could do this manually, e.g. copy cell R1C1, paste in first row first column in table, then copy cell R1C2, paste in first row second column in table and so on.

I dont want to copy a cell from excel and paste in the first row first column in table because if i have a table on excel 10 rows and 10 columns (100 cells) then it would be very boring and the functionality would be very bad..

This won't be possible with HTML. You'll need to gain access to the Excel file and get the cells that you want to copy and then paste. If you're only using IE, you can use an ActiveXObject.
