Web form to Excel

P: 1
Hi all, I have what I hope is a fairly simple project that I could use some advice on. I am currently working on a webpage that contains a simple form (Name, Email, Year, Food Selection). What I need is for that form to gather the info and then dump it into an excel sheet that I can then download. I'm trying to avoid getting an email after every submission as that tends to get messy and having everything in one excel sheet is much easier. I know someone that used php to do this but I can't figure out where to start. Open to all suggestions, but please keep them as simple as possible. Thanks!

You're going to need to use a script or programming language like PHP or ASP.NET to save the infiormation to a database or CSV file. From there you can export or import into Excel.

The simplest route, which you probably want, is to find an existing script that saves the webform to a text file if your web server supports it.
