Protect embed video - Encryption?

Hi,

I have a site with one embed video. What is the best way to protect such video file from stealing? I thought different ways:

1. Accessing the file via a hyperlink and then open the video in media player. If you right click over the hyperlink it should let you save the path as HTML and not the file. (don't know how to do this last part)

2. Embed the video once you open the page. Disable right click via javascript. Encript the whole page so you cannot see the link so not get the location. (Is there a free way to encrypt any HTML page?)

I am pretty sure there are more ways of doing it better. Please advise.

No way to protect your video from being kept on the computer. (Your ideas do not work.)

Your best form of protection is watermarking the video.

Watermark is a good approach.

But let me put it this way....What is the highest level of security to prevent people from stealing video files from your website?

Thank you.

Security by omission, I suppose. Stream Flash video without a link directly to the video. Easily defeated by a bit of technical knowledge, but that's the best you can get.

Anyone with Download Helper (plug in) installed on FireFox will be able to download any streamed media.

For effective protect video, i put transparent watermark on video. I use several watermarks which appearance in different corner video frame, in different time.

I use VideoCharge Studio for it.
