url at bottom of webpage printout

P: 1
Is there a way to omit the URL printing at the bottom of a webpage printout. I know you can do it with page setup at the individual workstation browser. But I want to do it in an ASP program so that it does not matter what the individual page setup footer is configure as.

This is a client-side problem and the user decides. All you can do is either set it up for them in their browser or teach them with video/images/clear easy-to-follow steps.

There is one tough way too. And that is, place a print button on the screen, but don't call print command with it. Instead, link it to a pdf* copy of the same page. User can save or print the pdf anytime.

* Make pdf at runtime, with some pdf library. I am not sure if there's a free pdf library for ASP, but there are for PHP.
