Fast Rollover Images

Hi All,

How can i rollover images work fast? How many different way of doing this mehod?

hi,
are you doing this use javascript or CSS?
It will usually be slow the first time it runs through while the browser dowloads the image.

Hi,
I don't think you can preload with CSS, which is why i asked.

The little CSS hack is moving an image when you rollover so the image appears to have changed, but its effectivly the same image.

but javascript is excellent like that. so which is it JS or CSS?

You're right you can't preload images with CSS, but you can with JavaScript and that's what I ment. Just saying that you 'could' preload the images to make it load faster. ^_^
