border collapse in FF but ok in IE 6 and 7

P: 2
Hi all,

I am currently working on a website and until recently everything was working fine on both IE 6, IE7 and Firefox V.

Yes, the problem is IE. Never use IE as your test browser and never use IE as an example of how things should work.

You are using the xml declaration on the first line. Only modern browsers know what to do with this while IE goes into quirks mode. Remove this:
<?xml version="1.0"?>

Then validate your html for your list of 56 errors there. Then validate your css for the error listed there. Test your site in Firefox first. Then see if IE manages to display your proper markup correctly.
