Problem with tables in IE

P: 1
Quick Rundown: i have a page design created in adobe cs3. we used the export feature to generate our html and image slices. i then edited the tabled to autosize for screen resolution, and started adding content. the page displays perfectly in firefox, but in IE7, the TD's are getting resized larger than the defined width.

i have the following code as the last table row to attempt to hold sizes.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.     <tr>
  2.         <td width="17%" nowrap="nowrap"></td>
  3.         <td nowrap="nowrap" style="width: 14px"></td>
  4.         <td width="9" nowrap="nowrap" style="width: 9px"></td>
  5.         <td width="106" nowrap="nowrap" style="width: 106px"></td>
  6.         <td width="43" nowrap="nowrap" style="width: 43px"></td>
  7.         <td width="54" nowrap="nowrap" style="width: 54px"></td>
  8.         <td width="*" nowrap="nowrap"></td>
  9.     </tr>
as you can tell, i already tried setting them with css values, hoping this would be a quick fix. the site can be viewed at http://devel.mlwartman.com.

in IE, notice the index page renders correctly, however when you click on Portfolio or Services, the TD widths pick their own settings. as i said before, the page renders perfectly in firefox. any suggestions would be most appreciated.
