float drop in IE print preview

namahshivaya
Hi,

I have been struggling to find a solution to the following problem : I have put an floating image (float:left) next to a <DIV> containing plain text. The code looks like this:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.
  2. <div><img style="float:left;" src="http://www.hotlinkfiles.com/thumbs/small/726953_oe0mq/picture.jpg"/>
  3. <div align="justify">text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text  text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text</div></div>

It looks fine when displayed in IE or Firefox. However, when I print it using IE 6 or 7, the text drops below the image as shown in the "print preview" screenshot: http://www.hotlinkfiles.com/thumbs/small/726977_dqy1l/print_preview.png. This bug does not happen with Firefox.

I've tried adding margins, but it doesn't seem to help much.

Does anyone have a clue ?

Thanks.

Inside your image tag: <img src="site/image.jpg"......> add

align="left" to this tag to look something like this:

<img src="site/image.jpg" height="100" width="100" align="left">
