CSS works in everything but IE6 - need help

I am a designer who is new to html and css coding. I designed the following site: http://donelliott.us and it works fine in every browser except IE6. I have spent several hours trying to figure out why it is doing this and can't seem to place it. It seems to have something to do with the position:absolute or 'floats' I have put on certain ID's but I can't pinpoint it - any help would be appreciated!

Main Site: http://donelliott.us
CSS File Copy: http://donelliott.us/web/style.txt
For HTML please just view source.

Thanks for any help you can give! This is pissing me off!!

Don,
Nice looking site.

After fixing the errors mentioned above, see if the total width of your content equals the total of the elements width inside. If they are equal, IE tends to put margin/padding where there is none. Try shrinking the divs a few px and see what happens.

All versions of IE are 10 years behind web standards.
