How to properly handle divs, and displaying of images, etc

Hello style group,

A while back I posted a message in the area in this link:(http://
groups.google.com/group/comp.infosystems.www.authoring.stylesheets/
browse_thread/thread/911e330b2d555871/37ab6540c7eccc57?
lnk=gst&q=eholz1#37ab6540c7eccc57)

The suggestions were pretty helpful. I have attempted to create a
couple of pages, using the techniques you (all) showed. I am still
not quite sure how to do some of this correctly.

I have two sample pages that could stand some evaluation/review.
One site I used for info:
http://matthewjamestaylor.com/blog/p...-left-menu.htm

I copied this (more or less for the "catalog.htm" page).

Here is the URL for the test/development site (I am undoing the
"frontpage" stuff from this site) http://woodapple.dns2go.com

the catalog page can be linked by clicking the catalog "button" .

Thanks for a good newsgroup,

Any suggestions will be helpful.
