hi..
i just started learning HTML and i have a question.
Can i use different styles for the Head rule or it is only the ALIGN SIZE and WIDTH?

It is "horizontal rule", not "head rule".

You can set several properties, such as height, width, background-color.

thank you for your replay, can u also tell me some tags for the background color or they are the the same as the body background colors?

A great resource is W3Schools. There you can learn about all of the HTML tags and their attributes. Also look into CSS while you are there.
