Gazing into my crystal ball I observed Heather Dugdale

I am 24, am experiencing Huntington's Disease symptoms. My family is
one of the few in the world who have early onset. I was a Nurse before
I got sick. I made a positive, comprehensive website. It has a blog,
care giving tips, ways to fight brain fog, myths, my story, my
families' story, history, and ways to have a positive testing
experience. I also put on there the poems I got published in the
horizon. This illness gives people a host of mental symptoms. I have
won the most awards for a new site.

Interesting content, and I wish you the best.
The website, however, needs some help. Pink against green, even with
large letters (I applaud you for this - considering the plethora of
sites with microscopic text), is very difficult to read. I had to turn
off your stylesheet to read it.
The top heading graphics are too large. On my system, I have to scroll
down once to get past the image to the content. I should not have to do
that.
The HTML is a mess, partly because of what Angelfire is adding, and
partly because you probably do not know HTML that well, and used
Angelfire's online web page creating thingy.
Your topic is interesting, and important to others, so I would suggest
getting real hosting - get a domain name, and hosting. You can get free
or low cost hosting without ads, just shop around.
Then get yourself a plain text HTML editor and then start hitting the
tutorials. [
http://www.htmldog.com/] is a good source. I would also
suggest Alphaworks ADesigner
[
http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/adesigner], which can help you test
accessibility (colors, etc). Use HTML Strict Doctype, and validate both
the HTML and the CSS. Get a few browsers (Opera, Firefox, Safari, etc)
and test is those as well.
Good luck, and a Happy Thanksgiving to you are yours.
