Transparent colors (for table bg's and stuff)

Hello everyone,
I always wonderd if transparent colors are possible in html, so i
asked here once about it and they answerd that it's not possible to do
it.
Today i thought of something to make transparent colors, and it's very
simple (How didn't i see it before?!?!):
Just go into photoshop or onother image editing program, make a new
1X1pixle size page with transparent bg, paint it with transparent
color that you want, save it as PNG (I know that png saves the
transparent proproty olso on web) and but it as bg image, and you have
transparent colored background :-).
hope i helped,
Ofir.

Apparently you did not understand the discussion, since you do not quote or
paraphrase it
but it as bg image, and you have
transparent colored background :-).
So you found out that you can create an image with transparency. Film at 11!
But it has nothing to do with making colors transparent in HTML, of course.

I meant it to be used not as a picture, but as a bg image for tables
and stuff, so if there is image or something at the background of the
page, you wull see that the color is transparent.
