I am using an iframe to build a menu (since it changes constantly) for my website. The problem is that I want to be able to click in the link in the menu anf having it open in the outer page. My iframe call is as follows:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <iframe src="menu.html" width="186" height="579" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" align="left" name="content">
In my iframe my button have the following html (it also have a roll over detail to the button):

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <a href="pageone.htm" target="_parent" onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('Image41','','RollOver/images/fa.gif',1)" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"><img src="images/fa.gif" name="Image41" width="162" height="21" border="0">
It works fine in firefox, but it doesn't in IE.

It works fine for me in FF2 and IE7, try closing off your iframe with </iframe> and close off your anchor with </a>
P.S. Next time use code tags when posting code, it makes your code more readable
