Weird z-index problem (images overlay dynamic menus)

Currently, I am designing a site using CSS driven vertical menus, it
works well in everything but MSIE. The menus seem to work well
enough, except that they float behind the images, but above the text.
The problem does not occur in Firefox, Konqueror, or Opera. I'm a bit
lost for what the cause could be.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Solved (thanks alt.html) In IE you must set both the UL, and LI z-
index for the menus to work.

No, cross-posting is when your create *one* message and post it over
more than one group by having them listed in the TO field.

What you did was multi-posted, posting separate messages (granted the
same content) to more than one group.

Multi-posting is bad for the reason you just discovered that your
question may be anwered in another group but will not be associated with
this message...don't multi-post. Cross-post if you must.

No, you multiposted. Thanks for the heads-up; multiposting means lack of
constructive approach. And you seem to have missed the _right_ group, as so
often.

Next time, if you want to get help, spend some time to select the right
group.
