Hello,
I have a database-driven site written with ASP that gets data from a MS SQL database. I have replaced all the font tags <Font='Arial' size='2 ' color='black'> statements with code that gets the values from a database. (I want the site Admin to be able to control these values via database update screen, so I don't have to go into CSS or ASP code to change values.)
Example:
A program reads the database & sets "global" values:
HF1 = GLB.Fields("HeaderFont1")
HFS1 = GLB.Fields("HeaderFont1Size")
HFC1 = GLB.Fields("HeaderFont1Color")
All instances of font tags are coded <font face=' " & HF1 & " ' size=' " & HFS1 & " ' color=' " & HFC1 & " '>
I use a menu program that is controlled by CSS & I want to "replace" the values hard-coded in the CSS code with values derived from the database, similar to that above.
I am VERY non-technical, couldn't even call myself a coder, and I need the syntax to code the CSS to accomplish the same thing I'm doing in the ASP code.
Is this even possible & can someone help me with the proper way to code the CSS statements?
Thanks for you help . . . .Breck Cogdill
