HTML Input, DOS Command execution

1
Any help would be appreciated. We have a set of files each month that must be merged together. The naming format is BILLDDMMMYYYY. We have five files to copy into one. I need to prompt for the date we are looking for ex: 29MAR2007 and then find all files with this date and merge them into MERGED29MAR2007.

I wanted to use an HTML program to formalize the form look with some special notes and instructions and also use this to prompt for the date to use and pass the entered variables to a BATCH file to execute the copy and merge?

If this is possible, can you help me with the code.

If there is another way to create a formal looking input prompt program, rather quickly without a ton ofcoding and then execute the DOS BAT , that would work fine as well.

I tried to use PHP to do this but having an issue with locating the files on a Network Drive.

Thanks in advance!!

HTML is not a programming language and cannot do any of this.
