How do you change the size of a text box?

How to reduce the size the size of a text box using CSS tht is applicable to all browsers.
plz any one can help me.

It's easy, you just give your input element an ID or class, like this:
[HTML]<input type="text" id="text" />[/HTML]
and then change the width with CSS like this:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. #text {
  2. width: 200px;
  3. }
