How do you make 'clickable' thumbnails to enlarge images?

I'm wanting a html page with a series of thumbnails which are clickable to enlarge the image in a new window, how do you do this?

Currently I have the images in the following format.
<p>
An image
<img src="someImage.gif"
width="48" height="48">
in the text
</p>
Thank you

If they need to be clickable then this is a javascript question and you should ask over there. If it can be 'hover'able, then you can use CSS and :hover to change the size.

I myself use lightbox allot, it doesnt use popups but use a layer to load the bigger image into.

Ok since your wanting the thumbnails to be clickable, and when they're clicked to open a new window that has a larger version of the image, you'll have to have the larger images in seperate HTML documents, and make your current thumbnails links. Like this:
<p>
An image

<a href="location of larger thumbnails">
<img border="0" alt="text to be displayed if image doesn't appear"
src="location of the small thumbnail" />
</a>

in the text
</p>
and as for your larger thumbnails just add the "width" and "height" attributes. Like this:
<img src="location of image" alt="text to be displated if image doesn't appear"
width="100" height="100" />
Hope it helps, Death
