I never know what people mean by 'textbox'. Do you mean <textarea> or a form <input>?

In css, use border-style .

Hi! Thanks for your reply.!

By textbox i mean the asp .net textbox which renders as an input field.

I have tried every type of border style and still cant cant seem to match IEs default. Ive been using a screen magnifier to look at the pixels and it is always different.

Which border style and color it should be?

Yes, asp.net stuff is Microsoft specific and won't mean anything to most of us.

There are many articles about styling forms. I'm getting ready to do such a page soon. I'm going to bed right now and, tomorrow, going out of town. You need to look into the border style properties for CSS but be careful of IE which tends to be inadequate in CSS.
