Div tag is creating extra space at bottom when it contains an image

Hi members,
please could anybody let me know how to remove the extra space from the bottom of the div tag when it contains an image. I mean the image doesn't fit properly within div tag.

Regards

Hi,

There are a few different options available here.

You could either change the size of the image by using setting the height to 100% (although this could cause the image to be stretched), hide the overflow by using overflow:hidden on the div (which may mean that all of the image is not visible) or set the height of the div so that it is sufficient to contain the image.
