onMouseOver

I'd like to use onMouseOver on a some text I have, but the text is not a
link. I've tried wrapping the text in scan, dt, div, li elements, but
none of them validate. My DOCTYPE is XHTML 1.0 Transitional

How can I do this?

Never mind, DUH!

Changed to 'omnouseover' and 'onmouseout' and all is fine.
