Question on Forms

I have a simple login form on a site I am working on. The client does not want it to BE functional at this point, but only wants it to APPEAR functional. As in, when someone types in a user/pw and clicks Login, the client wants it to show a page that says login incorrect, please try again or email for help.

The reason for this, is that he is soon moving to a database driven site, so that he can have vendors and clients login and view different parts of the site specific to each, but that will not be until about 6 months down the road. Until then he wants just a dummy login form that goes to the error page when the submit button is clicked.

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Sure. Just make a login form that posts to an error page. The form doesn't have to do anything, just make the action direct to the page desired.
