Do we have something for a vertical line like we have for horizontal one (<hr/>)?

Hi,
Is there a tag for drawing a vertical line?
Google has one for separating the sponsored links section on the right from the normal ones and it doesn't look like an image.
Any guesses?

Thanks,
Gomzi.
