image padding within a div tag

Does anyone know the code for setting padding around an image within a div tag? I have text bumping up against my images and I am needing to create a little space there without having that space applied throughout my site. Thanks for any help or if I can be pointed in the right direction.

Nevermind. FYI - I placed this code in the head:

<STYLE>
<!--
img {padding:5px}
//-->
</STYLE>

and it worked for just the page I needed it to.
