Importing HTML into a page

If I have a navbar that's the same for every page, and I want it to be located on an external HTML file, how would I import it into each HTML page? I know @import can be used to import CSS, but how would you do it for HTML?

Thanks.

The only way to do this is "server side include" or SSI.

I see. Looking at guides for this, I see it would work. Thanks for the help.
